This blog features tutorials and howto. Most will be distro independent, and so will be tagged linux.
There was previously an explanation as to why I liked to use Ubuntu. It's nice, simple and most things work on it. However I don't use it, because of it's lack of customisation and it's slow update path. These days I use Arch Linux but do most of my experiments on Moblin.
